Kathleen,
Am happy for you...bat-free and rested. Yes indeed: life is good
I live in NJ but my friend, Catherine, attends your yoga classes and sent me a link to your webpage. I love your blogs. So peaceful. So inspirational. Just wanted to let you know how far your reach has extended.
Kathleen, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your studio, your teaching style and YOU :)
I wish that I had more time here and could continue to take classes with you but alas! It's time for me to return home. However, I WILL see you the next time I come up here to visit my parents and yog with you!
Peace* Beth
Kathleen -
I've been wanting to write sooner but that "life" thing keeps getting in the way. So, I've closed the door, turned off both phones and am diverting my full attention to this email.
I have been reading your articles in MH for some time now. But the last, "Fixing Mother," evolked such emotion that it prompted me to write you. Although I didn't grow up with a mother as you described, I did walk with you through your journey as you described it. Even though I had no connection to it, I felt connected. In short, you moved me.
I also would like you to know that I'm going to try your "30 day" recommendation - in about 30 days!
omg.. good work, dude
Last night I got to "practice" yoga, in a group, in my own studio. Christine Moulton led us in an ashtanga class and at first I was looking out and watching the others to see if they needed help or support in the poses, but I soon realized that they were all okay, and not just *okay*-- they were positively beautiful! And I was *part* of it,not *leading* it, and I was overcome with joy! It was so different from the way I practice in that space by myself. I love my space and I love those people. I loved being a part of that class, moving and breathing in that big collective *class energy* way. I saw my studio with new eyes last night and I really liked what I saw. Thank you everyone! Especially Christine!

Oh, Kath, how I love coming to practice at your studio with you ... that gorgeous, light space ... the relaxing atmosphere that is born in your groups ... but I don't get to come very often. I've told you before, and I just wanted to not-very-subtly "hint" again: I loved it when you had Sunday afternoon yoga! Sun. afternoon is especially great in the fall and winter, but I'll take it ANY time. Here's hoping you might be able to incorporate a Sunday class in to the schedule again! Thanks for all you do.
