Here is the October line-up at MSY. It was really hard coming inside to write this newsletter today, I'll tell you that! The weather this fall so far has been nothing short of spectacular: cool, foggy mornings which burst into warm, blue-sky days…Does is get any better than this?? I think not!
I hope you will happy about my new offerings in October. The focus is "turning inward" as the days grow shorter with lots of breath work and core awareness.
The Tuesday session is the practice I do in my home yoga room. It's pretty wild, I won't lie, but it's also amazing.
The Thursday Core session is one of my favorites as well. I feel so much taller and vibrant when my core is strong and toned and activated!

I am thrilled that the Wednesday morning class at 11 is most likely going to continue in October, as well. WHAT: Pranayama and Meditative Postures
WHEN: Tuesdays in October. October 7, 14, 21, 28.
TIME: 5:30 - 6:30
In this class breathing, or Pranayama, will take center stage. Yogic pranayama techniques can:
Invigorate the nervous system
Oxygenate the blood stream
Alter the mind and the emotions
Strengthen the respiratory system
Tone the muscles of the abdomen
You can actually have a complete yoga practice with doing a single posture! But we will practice some postures, too--postures perfectly in tune with each breathing technique.
This is my personal at-home practice. I would love to share it with you.

WHAT: Yoga for Core
WHEN: Thursdays in October. October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
TIME: 5:30 - 6:30
In this core-focused class, We will explore pranayama techniques designed to activate and enliven the abdominal wall and the muscles of the back. In the posture flow you will strengthen, tone and bring heightened awareness to your deep core line.
This will be a meditative approach to the core, not a million crunches. When the core is activated and strong, so many postures will become easier and more available to you. If this sounds good, REGISTER HERE.
