Happy Fall, Yogarians!
Wait till you see what a fun and cool bunch of sessions I have coming up for you in November and December! "Power" on Mondays, "Gentle" on Tuesdays, the brand new "Yoga for Working Stiffs" with Shelly on Wednesday nights, "Variety Pack" on Thursdays, and the party we all know as "Happy Hour Yoga" on Fridays.
(To tell you the truth, I never thought there would be enough interest for that late morning class until you guys proved me wrong!) So tickled to see such great attendance in that Wednesday morning class! I will keep it going as long as you keep coming. (Personally, I think that's the perfect time to practice.)
So, look over the details below, check your schedules, and click on anything that looks good to you to register. I will let you know as soon as I get enough to go in each class.
If I don't see you before Thanksgiving, please know that I am truly grateful for all of you in my life. I am grateful for your love and your support of me, personally, and for your support of Main Street Yoga. Many of us think of MSY as our yoga "home" and of our fellow practitioners as our "yoga family." I think for all of us, it is way up there on our "gratitude lists" as we bow our heads in Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving.

An up-tempo vinyasa flow for the yogi who likes to sweat (mindfully). This is a Monday night "staple" but I would like a head count this month, so if you are planning to attend Power on Mondays would you raise your hand by clicking HERE? Thanks!

A nice, stretchy, breathy class for yogis who need a deep, systematic de-kinking. This is a great class for the new-to-yoga student. Basic postures. No "tempo."

Late Morning Yoga
An "All-Levels" class to revive and energize you for the day ahead. Basic postures, slow to moderate tempo. This class will go if 10 students commit each month. Please raise your hand HERE if you are interested in Late Morning Yoga in November. You will be notified when this session is a GO.

Yoga for Working Stiffs
Shelly Clark is targeting all you "working stiffs" out there. You know who you are: You sit all day glued to your computer; you commute to and from work hunched over that steering wheel; you spend your evenings in front of the TV, or cruising Facebook on your iPad, and then you wonder why it hurts to stand up straight and you feel all creaky and old? This simply will not do! All this sitting is sapping your energy and your youthful vitality! This class is designed to de-kink you and stretch you out. This class will:
- improve your posture
- free up your neck and shoulders
- loosen your lower back
- stretch out your quads
- open your hips
If you know a Down Dog from a Pigeon you can do this class (it is not suitable for raw beginners!! If you are a raw beginner, Gentle Yoga on Tuesday night is for you!)
You must pre-register for this! When we get 10 people it's a GO. It will max out at 17.
