The Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes will continue on as usual: Power Hour on Mondays, All-Levels Drop-in with Shelly Clark on Wednesdays, and Happy Hour Yoga at 4:30 on Fridays.

The 2 Special classes this month will be Core Power Yoga  on Tuesdays and Slow Flow Yoga on Thursdays. The details follow. If you would like a printed schedule for your fridge, just go to the website: and on the header find "April PDF." Just click and print.

Core Power Yoga
April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
5:30 - 6:30 PM
$50 or Flex
We will start with advanced pranayama techniques and exploration of the bandhas, then move into the abdominal wall and the muscles of the back.
This will be a deeply focused and meditative approach to the core. When the core is activated and strong, so many postures become easier and more available. When the core is strong, the back gets a lot of support. When the back gets a lot of support you can stand taller, and go through your life without pain. If this sounds good to you, register HERE.
This class is suitable for all levels.

Slow Flow Yoga
April 3, 10, 17, 24,
5:30 - 6:30
$40 or Flex
If Power Yoga is “up tempo,” Slow Flow is more like moving through warm, silky water. We will link postures in a a steady flow, but the pace will be mindful and careful. There will be plenty of time to drag that pesky back foot through into runner’s lunge, for example. There will be plenty of time to really set up that perfect Warrior 2. If you have never experienced a "flow" style of yoga, this is the place to learn. If you already like to flow but find the pace of Power Yoga a bit exhausting, try this. It’s nice. Register HERE.
This class is suitable for all but raw beginners.

On a personal note, this Yogamama became a Yogagrandmama on March 25th! Here is my new (and first) grandchild: Obie Brenny. And here he is with his beautiful and wondrous mother, Emily (Newman) Brenny! I am freaking out with happiness!!
