I cannot believe the Yoga Challenge is almost over. This month has FLOWN! Everyone who started is going to finish.
Jes and Pam and Tom and Brin and Sherry and Linda and Sarah all rocked it this month. I am so happy for them.
Stop up and ask them about it, and celebrate them, and the 11th year of Main Street Yoga, on Thursday, April 30th at 6:30. Food and drinks and great conversations will be going down.
Come and bring your friends and family. I was also blessed this year to have Shelly Clark and Sandy McDivitt—two remarkable women— sharing the teaching this month. Please come and meet, and thank them, too.
New! Open Practice
I was so inspired by the persistence of the Yoga Challengers that I have decided to do my own little personal “yoga challenge” in May. Instead of practicing in my yoga room at home, (which sometimes happens and sometimes doesn’t) I have committed to a morning practice 5 days a week. I will be hoofing (or biking) it to the studio ever morning, Monday through Friday, lighting the candle, and doing some kind of practice for an hour.
If you want to join me, I’d love the company. There is no charge for this. There will be a donation jar if you want to put something in it, but even that is not necessary or expected.
I won’t be instructing, but I will leave printed lists of some of my favorite sequences on the bench in the lounge for your guidance if you wish.
This will start Monday May 4th. I’m calling it “Open Practice.”
Listed below are the May offerings. I hope something looks good to you. If it does sign up soon. (Power and Gentle Yoga, in particular, fill quickly, so make sure you reserve your spot.)
I hope to see you in May. Thank you for your support all these years. You make it possible for me to do what I truly love. Mwah! and...
MSY in May
There is Power Yoga with me on Mondays for the person who likes a challenge.
There is Gentle Yoga, also with me, on Tuesdays. This class is perfect for the beginner or anyone who appreciates a softer class.
On Wednesdays, Shelly Clark will be teaching East Meets West Yoga. This will be 4 weeks of postures interpreted for the modern mind. Learn how the mysterious Eastern concepts of yoga can be understood through a western, scientific lens. Come deepen your practice and your understanding. (For advanced beginners and up.)
